Terms and Conditions
It makes us very happy to choose us. I hope it is the first of many visits! We have proposed to offer you a very authentic tourist experience in Spain, and above all a happy memory of your holidays or business days, from start to finish.
The following terms and conditions show our mutual commitment and represent our contract with you when you rent a home with us. You are allowed to occupy the property during the holiday period indicated in the confirmation that you will receive by email.
WHAT WE INCLUDED
You will be pleased to know that the rental price includes all of the following:
Free high speed internet access.
Welcome basket upon arrival.
Guide with information about the apartment, as well as additional information about the neighborhood, the neighborhood, our favorite excursions, shops, restaurants and much more.
Personal welcome on the property. We take the time to show you how everything works and give you the necessary clues to get around the city.
We are here to help you if during your stay you have any inconvenience.
Cotton towels, 300 thread count sheets, bath soaps and shower gel.
A small supply of products for household maintenance: dishwasher, detergent, garbage bags and paper towels.
All-inclusive rate: taxes, commissions, fees, etc. There is no surprise at the last minute.
There are no additional charges, with the exception of additional cleaning if the property is not delivered in a state of logical order, as indicated below, or if the property and / or its furnishings have suffered any damage.
RESERVE YOUR STAY
We accept payments for MasterCard and Visa through a secure online payment system. For payments with AMEX and Diners Club, please consult us. You can also pay by bank transfer (in Euros) or by PayPal. Please note that the rental rates are indicated in the local currency (Euros). If you are going to make the payment in another currency, you should check the change at http://www.oanda.com/lang/en/currency/converter/ or by contacting our reservations department.
We charge a day for the reservation, which will be returned if canceled before 3 days of arrival.
The rest must be paid within 3 days of entry. We will send you a reminder so you do not have to be alert.
Please note that if the entire reservation has not been paid by the due date and after sending you three notices, we will assume that you wish to cancel it. The corresponding cancellation terms will apply in each case.
Changes in the rate
We review property rates every year. Once you confirm your reservation, we naturally respect the rate offered at that time.
How to book
You can make the reservation directly through our website, or, if you prefer, by email or by phone. Regardless of the reservation formula you choose, you must always indicate that you have read and accept the conditions indicated on this page.
Upon receipt of your initial payment, we will confirm your reservation and send you a download link to a guide with relevant and essential information to guarantee you a good holiday.
Visa and passport
It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your group, including children, have a valid passport and a visa (if applicable).
Arrival and departure
Our tickets are made after 3.30 p.m. However, we know that there are flights arriving in the morning, and therefore we do our best to help you. If the property is ready and you let us know in advance (at least one day in advance), we will be happy to welcome you as soon as possible.
Please note that you must provide us with your arrival information so that we can arrange your entry, if possible with a minimum of 3 days before your arrival. We will also need you to call us when you arrive. In case of traveling by plane, the best option is to call us once you have collected your luggage and are ready to go to the property.
The departure time of the property is until 11.00. If you want to request a "late check-out", you must request it in advance. As long as we do not have an entrance to the property and we can change the final cleaning, we will be happy to be flexible. We will not be present at the exit unless specifically requested. You should only leave the keys in the indicated place and close the door when leaving.
Security deposit - deposit
We will request a security deposit when you book, which you can pay with the reservation, or when you make the entry, at your choice. After the departure of the apartment, we will check it to confirm that it is orderly and without damages or losses of consideration (like the keys, for example). The refund of the deposit or deposit will be made within a maximum period of 3 days after departure. In the unlikely event of loss of keys or other items of consideration, damage to the property or its contents, or if extraordinary cleaning is necessary, you will be informed immediately and we will cover the costs incurred under the security deposit . The rest will be refunded to your bank account.
We work from empathy and common sense. By this we mean that we will not charge, for example, for minor damages such as the breakage of a dish, glass of wine, etc. Yes, we ask that you leave the property in order, with the trash thrown away, and with the two sets of keys in the indicated place. Rarely has it been necessary to use bail, and we trust you to understand that we must protect the interests of our owners in case of misuse of real estate.
It is hard to believe that something will happen to us, but even the most perfect plan can sometimes go wrong. We therefore recommend you to subscribe to travel insurance on your trips. You have at your disposal numerous companies in the sector rigorous and quality. Do not hesitate to contact us if you want advice in this regard.
The general conditions are:
If you cancel more than 15 days before the arrival date, we will retain 30% of the total reservation.
If you cancel between 15 and 2 days before the arrival date, we will retain 50% of the total reservation.
If you cancel less than 2 days before the arrival date, we will retain 100% of the reservation amount.
The foregoing is our general policy. However, if you notify us with enough time and we get a new rental property on those dates, we will try to pay you as much as possible of the advance payment you made.
To avoid unpleasantness and unforeseen events, we remind you that it is advisable to take out travel insurance.
Any refund due will be made according to the initial payment method and always in euros.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify a reservation
Throughout our journey we have rarely been forced to cancel a reservation, and always in the interest of the client and due to force majeure: floods, accidents or notification of a large and annoying work in the vicinity of the chosen property that would cause discomfort to our guests.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify a reservation, both before and during the stay, in the following cases: (a) for circumstances beyond our control (cause of force majeure) or (b) to make or complete a repair or work essential due to a leak, breakage or some unexpected event.
Our policy in these cases is as follows:
We would offer you a property of equal or greater value at no additional cost. If this is not acceptable, we will reimburse 100% of the reservation.
If the only available apartment is of lesser value, we will refund the difference. If this is not acceptable, we will reimburse 100% of the reservation.
YOUR STAY WITH US
We make a great effort to keep our properties in perfect condition and cleanliness, and we thank you for treating our homes as if they were your own home. The apartment or property that you rent will be shiny and tidy when you arrive, and we trust you to leave the property in similar conditions when you leave, with the clean dishes and the trash removed. If upon arrival you detect any problem, you must notify it immediately, so that the corresponding department (cleaning, maintenance) immediately send personnel to solve it. If on your departure we find the property in unfit conditions (or especially dirty), we will be obliged to charge a cleaning fee.
When booking, you agree not to carry out dangerous, offensive, noisy, illegal or immoral activities on the property, as well as any act that could create discomfort among the neighbors. You will be responsible for the expenses derived from any damage caused by you or by any member of your group (to whom you must inform of these Terms and Conditions). The specific instructions of each property will be delivered to you upon arrival
Children and parental responsibility
As it can not be otherwise, children are always welcome at our Home at Homes properties. Please remember that it is your responsibility to ensure that they do not cause any harm and that they respect the peace and tranquility of the building. Do not let children perform noisy activities on the property, especially at night or in the early morning.
Some of our properties have certain age restrictions, which are clearly specified in the description of the property. Failure to respect such age restrictions may cause problems upon arrival, such as denial of access or an additional security deposit if determined by the owner.
Failure of appliances and other appliances
Please notify us if a problem occurs as soon as it arises and we will do our best to solve it immediately. We have to know that there is a problem to be able to solve it! We are not responsible for the breakdowns of mechanical equipment in the common areas of the building, or for non-compliance by utility companies. In any case, rest assured that we will do everything possible to solve any problem with diligence.
Most properties have access to high-speed internet for free. The system may not be compatible with your computer. It is a good idea to carry a standard Ethernet cable in case your equipment can not connect to the wireless signal.
Right of Entry
We reserve the right to enter the apartment at any reasonable time for any reasonable cause. In case it is necessary to access the property, we will notify you in advance, informing you of the reason and the time. We will do everything possible to make the visit between 10.00 and 19.00, respecting your preferences.
Number of guests staying overnight at the property
Please note that it is forbidden to exceed the maximum number of people allowed to spend the night in the property. This information is detailed in the description of the property. The occupation limits are established according to the legal terms imposed by the local authorities.
As such, any type of occupation higher than the established one is considered a serious infraction of these Terms and Conditions, and consequently we could be obliged to ask you to leave the property without the right to reimbursement of the sums paid, as well as to pass on possible additional expenses, for example in the case of legal actions. If you have an unexpected guest, contact us and we will try to find a solution to accommodate you.
You should keep in mind that most of our properties do not allow pets to avoid possible allergies. If you have a well trained companion animal, contact us and we will inform you of the properties in which you are welcome.
Loss of keys
The vast majority of our properties have an armored door. This gives them excellent security, but it means that the keys are very expensive to replace. We urge you to take care of the keys so you do not lose them. If this happens, for logical reasons of security it is necessary to change the locks, and the approximate cost can be raised to a few hundred euros. In this case, we would be forced to charge you this expense, as the custody of keys is your responsibility.
Security and personal responsibility
Lost items will be stored for a period of 6 months.
Most of our properties have an armored door. Some have a safe. It is your responsibility to ensure that you take the necessary precautions against theft: lock the door and close all the windows when you are not at home, etc.
We advise you that the coverage of your personal insurance or travel insurance (and that of your group) includes protection in case of accident or illness during your stay. In the unlikely event of a theft or damage to persons or personal property, fire, terrorist attack, civil unrest or other force majeure, neither the rental agency nor the apartment owner will be responsible for direct or indirect damages I could suffer.
